Mission

“To develop and manage water infrastructure, provide sustainable water supply and sanitation services, and promote access to affordable and clean energy across Migori County.”

Key Objectives
1 Increase piped water coverage to 80% of households by 2027
2 Construct and rehabilitate water supply systems across all sub-counties
3 Expand rural water projects through borehole drilling and water pans
4 Promote clean energy adoption including solar and biogas
5 Improve sanitation facilities in schools, health facilities and public spaces
6 Establish water quality testing and monitoring systems

Water Infrastructure Development

Eng. Paul Owino

Plans and oversees construction of water supply infrastructure including pipelines, reservoirs and pumping stations.

Rural Water Services

Mr. Michael Arum

Manages borehole drilling, hand pumps, water pans and rural water supply for remote communities.

Water Quality and Sanitation

Ms. Helen Otieno

Monitors water quality, manages sanitation programmes and promotes WASH initiatives in schools and communities.

Energy Services

Mr. Brian Oloo

Promotes renewable energy adoption, solar street lighting and energy access programmes across the county.
