Welcome to Migori County
Migori County is located in the South Nyanza region of Kenya, bordered by Tanzania to the south, Homa Bay County to the north, Kisii County to the northeast, and Narok County to the east. The county covers an area of approximately 2,586 km².
Established in 2013 under the new Kenyan constitution, Migori County has grown to become a vibrant devolved unit committed to sustainable development, equitable service delivery, and economic empowerment of its residents.
The county is home to diverse communities including the Luo, Kuria, Suba, and Masai communities, making it a culturally rich region with significant tourism and agricultural potential.
